Ok, I have 93 S-10 Blazer W vin 4.3 ltr Vortec. Sometimes when it rains heavy while I'm driving, the thing will studder at high speed. Low speed up to 35 seems fine. Give more gas it will studder again. I thought this only happened with rain. But tonight it was snowing and very, very windy, zero wetness, and it was worse than in the rain. What the hell is this? It is infrequent. So I'm sure a garage won't be able to figure it out. No check engine light or anything comes on. Could it be the oxygen sensor or something with the tranny or could something be loose? When the weather is fine it runs fine. Any help will be much appreciated!!!

Yes, BLT. Did all that in September. Plugs, wires, rotor, dist. cap. PCV valve, AIT sensor. I don't know what this is. Drove it today, no wind, no rain, The vehicle is covered in snow today too and it was fine. Any other ideas? I think this is gonna be hard to figure out. Do you think I should go to Autozone to see if anything comes up on the computer?

One of the other guys on here will probably be able to help you with this better than I can. I just wanted to say that I know someone who was having similar problems, it started after she took her van to walmart to get the oil changed. While changing the oil they somehow cracked the plastic cover on the Mass Air Flow sensor, anytime there was a lot of moisture in the air the van would act up.

Get your fuel pressure checked out.

Also, remove the top IMTV valve and look down nto the plenum and smell for gas and look for golden washed spots.

Geez fellows, it's a '93. There is no MAF. There is an IAT only.

That's why I said someone else could help with this better than I can, because I don't know any of the model specific details for the 93. I'm just going by my knowledge of cars in general.
