so i am in the process of buying a 76 nova. i plan on picking it up this weekend. there are 149,000 original miles on the stock 305 and tranny, New rims, tires, intake, carb, radiator, air shocks(rear), new front shocks, headers, exhaust all the way out. Body is in great shape, "1 day paint" job done about a year ago.
i dont know much about domestics, my prior knowledge was with imports, i am selling my 92 prelude and cant wait to be a Nova ower...hell yeah!!!
some of the memebr gave me some advice about what to look for.....rust....
all the car needs is a brake master cylinder, they are about $30 at autozone.
any advice would be great!!!
thanks, nick

Glad to see you came to your senses and bought American.

What I would do is change all the fluids, give the eninge a nice tune up (including plugs and wires)

Yea, I would flush the radiator and make sure all the fluids are clean. Also, maybe just double check the spark plugs to make sure the previous owner gapped them correctly.
