One of the lights is not working on my heater/AC control unit. Are there bulbs that can be changed and how would I get to them if there are? I tried to remove the dash trim panels but could not. I found three screws holding it on, after I removed the wood trim panel, but when I pulled it did not come off. I didn't want to brake it so I didn't pull real hard. This is the panel that surrounds the radio and speedometer, and etc.

Thanks

I have 4 of my lights out. GM only sells the whole unit ($550.00-$650.00) They say it's, "Not serviceable." From what I understand, the lights are saudered in. I have an electric repair shop (mostly VCR's, Stereo's) who will fix mine pretty cheap. I tried to take mine apart but emagined springs and little parts falling out when I opended it up. I don't want to drive my car without it in since it's hooked into all the other electric stuff.

You needed to go a little farther to take off the stuff. I can now take off mine and replace the radio in under 15 minutes.

There are screws behind the air vents.

Go to http://www.carstereohelp.com and click on your car. It will give you pictures of how to get to the unit. It's very good instructions.

Sory, I just went to the site. It used to be free. They charge now.
