Hello, I was changing out my stock radio in my 2004 neon, and after i finishe installing it I get a no bus message on my odometer, my guages stop working, my speedometer stoped working and all my warning indicators are lit up. When I unplug it (the radio) everything comes back to life. The cd player was purschased in germany maybe that has something to do with it. If anyone can help me I'd really be greatfull! thanks

It's funny you say it's from Germany, as that's probably where the plans and everything for this car came from.

What kind of radio is it?

you have to be careful in the newer neons there are a couple of wires on the stock deck that should not hook up to the new deck just make shur you get a good wire harness and not one from best buy either they suck ass for stereo equipment and make shur you dont hook up the orange or the orange and white wires one the illumination and the other is the dimmer also if it is a daewoo trash it you'll just keep blowin fuses

Yea I didnt hook up the dimmer. my radio is JVC. When I turn off power to the CD player then the "no bus" goes away and my guages work again. Could it be because I dont have the antenna hooked up to the CD player? some one also told me that you cant switch stock radios in newer cars, they wont work. its suppose to stop people from stealing cd players or something. I never heard of this?
