Timing belt last replaced at 135K on my 1990 V6 SR5 now with 206K miles (i.e. ~70K miles ago) . Truck is not used under 'severe conditions'.

From what I gather, Toyota recommends 60K intervals under 'severe conditions', and people on this board recommend 90K otherwise; if that's accurate I should be OK for 15-20K more miles.

Is this accurate, and does the recommended interval stay the same regardless of mileage/how many times you've replaced it? I would assume so, but would rather ask the question than find out the hard way...

Thanks for your feedback.

It should last the same number of miles at any age. Change it every 90K. There are no guarantees, however...

When you change it take a GOOD look at around the #1 cylinder head gasket. I was looking at my pictures of the timing belt replacement 10k miles before the head gasket failed and there were OBVIOUS signs of moisture seepage from that head gasket, it is the one that failed along with the #6.
