Could be your full pump. Worn out fuel pumps are notorious for sputtering and shutting off (thus killing engine) when they get hot. It is not common for someone with a bad fuel pump to start up car fine, drive several miles, and then have the car suddenly quit. My guess would be your fuel pump - have it checked out.

Yep sounds like a fuel pump. Just went through the same with my GA. Had the tank pulled and replaced the pump. Running smooth now.
