My 95 has a air nipple in the back compartment but no switch. Does this mean i can manually add air to the shocks. I haven't looked for the compressor yet, can someone tell me where to look? When i press the valve air comes out, can i pump tires ,etc with this or do i have to get the switch, regulator and whatever else i need?

Do you have a photo of that? If it were the original equipment, it would be obvious: it comes with a push button switch to turn the compressor on and off for the purpose of inflating tires and other equipment from the "nipple". The original compressor is below the car, left of the spare tire, aft of the wheel well, and the auto leveller system that is part of that equipment is mounted above the middle of the rear axle and linked to the axle by a small lever....So I suspect you have aftermarket inflatable shocks and the nipple you see is for inflating them with an external compressor. DO NOT DRIVE WITH THE SHOCKS DEFLATED. Keep then at a minimum of 20psi otherwise the 2 sides opf the rubber jacket rub against eachother and it will break. BY the way, contrary to what a lot use to say, these are not "air shocks" : these are standard hydraulic shock absorbers with an external and totally independant inflatable jacket whose sole purpose is raising the rear end.

In fact, after my original equipment broke and it would cost way above $1000 to change it all, I removed everything, bought afernarket inflatalbe shocks, and bought one of these little compressors that you plug in the lighter accessory outlet and I keep it in the car for this service...oh yeah, compressor is $10.
One strange thing about after market inflatable shocks: First I bought Gabriels, (I liked them because the rubber jacket was enclosed on all its length) but they were absolutely not acting in extension and the rear of the car would wave continuously and alarmingly...had them replaced with another pair of similar Gabriels... with same result...and you could see that just exercising them by hand.....then switched to MOnroe for an AOK ride.
