Ok so my change oil light has been on for a MONTH! now, ever since I changed my anti freeze, and I dont know why. I checked my oil, and theres enough in it... and plus I just got my oil changed like a 1,000 miles ago so I dunno what i should do now, if I should change it again now soon, or wait until the 3 000 mark mark and get it changed then..

I believe the oil change light will come on every 7500 miles rather you change it or not. There is a reset button on the fuse panel to reset it. The owners manual will give you directions on how to turn it off. Mine has been on for a month now too.....not a big deal its just comes on as a reminder.

Hey guys there is a easy way to rid the change oil light...
turn the key over - don't crank it, then press the gas pedal 3 times give it just a second or 2 then turn the key back off and then crank it. This resets the change oil light. I think it will come back on in like 3k or so

The oil change light works on estimating what condition the oil is in. It doesn't work strictly on mileage. It does need to be reset every time you change the oil, which might not have been done when you last had your oil changed. By reseting the oil change light you are also telling the computer that the engine now has fresh oil. It basically just watches how hard you work the engine and takes an educated guess at when it is time to change the oil. If you tow a trailer or live in a hilly area or have a lead foot, you may find the oil light coming on before your next expected due date. And if you happen to baby the engine it may go as long as 6000 miles or greater before coming on.

it's easy to reset...pop the fuse panel. Turn the key to the on position. Press the reset button until the oil light indicator flashes. Then hold it down until it stops chiming. And the gas pedal trick only seems to work on certain GA's. Doesn't work on mine.
