I let him go and felt ashamed that I did nothing. With a step on the Gas I was up his A_____S Till he wiggled he finger as If I could not take him. So we Waited His VR6 Jetta or Passat I don't care and my Altima at the light. He took the line but with ease I left him behind. No More bs aND THAT GOES FOR BEETLES AND BUGS. TOO TatII 03-12-2002, 02:03 AM hahahah i wouldn't even include beetles in that list. that car is like purely designed for girls~ lolz. nice kill though. matrxgotme 03-12-2002, 04:07 PM Thanks Tat This Altima Smokes!!!! I had an F-150 Lightning before this and I enjoy this car more. It could never touch the lightning but close enough :flash: JBL85 03-13-2002, 12:41 AM you could if you had a 5 speed. I raced a V6 Altima and it kicked my ass in my 5 speed 2.5L cybercrx00 03-17-2002, 02:26 PM the VW people around here asses it seems TatII 03-17-2002, 08:40 PM maxtrxgotme is your altima a manuel or auto? and how does it pull when you acelerate? if you've driven a mustang GT does it pull similar to that? euro_vw 08-18-2002, 06:34 AM Originally posted by cybercrx00 the VW people around here asses it seems Not all VW owners like that. I don't want you guys think of all VW owners like that because of one incident. He has one of the sickest looking altimas. Its a 5 speed, lowered with rims and stillen kit. Very nice ride. I have driven both cars, the only difference is you can hear the GT and feel it pull because its not as smooth as the Altima, but they are both Nearly just as fast. GT stangs hit 14.0's in the 1/4 and I have seen 1/4 times on STOCK altimas from 13.89-14.7 depending on how well the guys can drive them. matrxgotme 08-19-2002, 02:02 PM Hello to all and to all a good Alti. I have been MIA fixing my car. The idiots at Costco put my new Pilot sports on and used to much tire lube or something. Well I was racing this sweet M3 with dual pipes and looked raced out. I kept up good, I think he would pull me but when I hit the brakes at 110, not to hard but hard enough I lost air pressure in two tires. needless to say my bad ass Alti looked like a piece of sh---t. with the spare on. I am now all fixed up and running Sept 8th and 9th at Sandia Motor Speedway( road course ) training and race prep. I love VW's and think jettas rock but you all seem stuck on it and that gives me pleasure in the kill. Whats up JBL85!!! JBL85 08-19-2002, 03:12 PM Hey man, how are you? havent seen you on altimas.net in a long time, thought you dissappeared ::confused: Good to see you didnt crash your car with the tires messing up on you. :D matrxgotme 08-19-2002, 03:54 PM Jbl85, Hey let's start a new thread and call it Where are we Now? at Altimas.net This Auto forums is slow go tto Altima.net. But i have been racing for 8 years... so that counts! pontiactrac 02-08-2003, 03:42 PM Hey guys, got a question, someone once told me that there is a mathematical formula where u put in the weight of ur car and some other stats like horsepower or torque and it comes up with some number that u can compare ur car to others with. The only problem is i don't know the formula and would like to for interest reasons. Does anyone know? i would greatly appreciate it.;) NanoSan 02-27-2003, 12:02 PM what is it with the jetta ,passat drivers?? seems like they just need to prove something too, me ..it seems like different cars same driver!!!! any way, the Altima is a much better car!!:bandit: zackiedawg 02-28-2003, 02:53 PM Please don't lump us Passat drivers in with Jetta drivers! ;) At least in my neck of the woods, many Jetta drivers are first timers or young kids. Though many are quite cool, nice people, you do occasionally run into those who are extra pleased to have bought a solid little car, and they start to get their heads filled with the idea that it is a mini-BMW - once that starts, they begin to judge anything else as lesser vehicles. But Passat owners are often a more educated and financed crowd, and usually don't have anything to prove. We love our cars, yes, but also love other brands too. I check out other Passats, G35 Coupes, Corvettes, BMW M3s, Mercedes SLs, Mazda 6s, and a bunch of classic cars. Anyone who has done a nice job modding their car gets my respect too...even if it is not my favorite model. I will race other cars...sometimes for fun, and sometimes because they goaded me on. I have even had Jetta owners challenge me to races! If I win, I give a thumbs up for the fun of the race, and if I lose I still had just as much fun, except sometimes I may roll down a window and ask what I just raced (what mods, what engine, etc)! Anyway, good kill either way, and don't let it sour you towards the attitudes of ALL VW owners. I know a great bunch of very cool VW drivers down here, in all models, that would appreciate your car as much as another VW! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
