Laguna Seca II ????a007apl 03-10-2002, 08:57 AM hermunn123 03-11-2002, 01:07 AM yuppers... that's an E46 modified by Hamman. it has a V12!!! fairly fast. Cbass 03-16-2002, 04:51 AM Is that the M V12 they use in the McLaren? hermunn123 03-16-2002, 12:12 PM no, it's not. it is based on the 5.4L V12 from the 750i. it is turned into a 6.1L V12 producing 480 hp @ 5400 RPM and 457 lb-ft of torque @ 4300 RPM. 0-60 mph is in 4.2 seconds and top speed in 193 mph. if you want more, let me know Cbass 03-17-2002, 05:31 AM By all means, continue! I'm mostly into Porsches, but I love Bimmers and Audis, even some VWs. I'm an all around german car nut, and the only Hamanns I'm familiar with are the V8 3 series. I saw a company do a very clean turbocharging job on an E46. It was scary, 0-60 in 3.4, 0-100 in 9.8, 1/4 in 11. They didn't check the top speed, but you get the point. a007apl 03-23-2002, 05:51 AM http://www.autorunmag.com/velo/image/photos/bmw/laguna_seca_2/laguna_seca_2_engine.jpg http://www.autorunmag.com/velo/image/photos/bmw/laguna_seca_2/laguna_seca_2_cockpit.jpg http://www.autorunmag.com/velo/image/photos/bmw/laguna_seca_2/laguna_seca_2_rearquarter.jpg http://www.autorunmag.com/velo/image/photos/bmw/laguna_seca_2/laguna_seca_2_front.jpg Cbass 03-23-2002, 05:25 PM Sweet Jesus, thats a nice Bimmer. Anyone seen a turbo E46? :D 328isRob 03-26-2002, 11:17 AM Don't remember if it was turbo/or SC but in Roundel about two months ago there was a guy with a Blown 328ic (E46) from a company in Sweden I believe. Cbass 03-26-2002, 06:58 PM I saw a article in a magazine about a turbo M3. The company actually used to make supercharger kits for 3 series, but when they tried a turbo kit, the power band was so much better than the supercharged ones. 328isRob 03-26-2002, 07:44 PM I saw a article about a mean turbo from AA http://www.activeautowerke.com/ but I don't think they ever made superchargers and they don't have a blower setup for a E46. I wish I could get their turbo on my car but alas I do not have the extra $13,000 they quoted me to do it. :( a007apl 03-27-2002, 04:49 AM Please friends, look http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/homee.htm The Official Site Cbass 03-28-2002, 12:11 AM Oh god! No, I still remain faithful to the Porsche flame, but those are Hamanns are just about enough to change that. No reason I can't have both though! :D Except for a lack of hundreds of thousands.. but hey, no plan is perfect, right? BertOx 05-14-2002, 04:03 AM There's a mean story on this site: [URL=http://www.news24.com/News24/Wheels24/0,3999,2-15_1175251,00.html]:) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
