my 2002 yukon has 34000 miles on it. I have 2 weeks left on the regular warranty. my dealer just told me he will sell me the gm major guard, 3 years...36000 miles for 1995.00..does this sound like a good deal???

I'm not sure I understand what he wants to sell you. The months and miles of the GMPP usually include the manufacturers warranty. The 6yr, 92k mile warranty on my 2005 started on my day of purchase and stops in 2011 or when the odo says 92k. It does not start when the factory warranty is over. Ken Fichtner in Laurel, Montana has very good GMPP prices.

hes wanting to extend his 3 year 36k mile warranty since it expires in 2 weeks. i will be in the same situation in a couple of months too.

....never mind i just got a new yukon today...i leased a 2005 loaded....carbon metallic..nice ride!!!!
