MB 300D, iv had it about a year and its 15 years old (1990) . i'll try to keep it short. there is problem after problem with this car, first the starter broke (fixed that) then the trunk hinge broke (fixed that too) the fuel injection brakes every couple of months (one br0ke last week fixed that) the car was 5000 bucks and looks about brand new. my question is...i just got it back from the place that fixed the #1 fuel injector, i started it up in the lot and it started shaking, ALLOT. enough to ask IS THIS MY MB? well it is, and the oil gauge jumps to high preasure every time i hit the gas or if the engine sputters a bit. is it a bad gauge or bad oil pump? and is it a good idea to sell the car and get another MB that maybe dosent brake every month? or would it be cheaper to restore it, if i did restore what parts would be ideal to buy besides definantly another engine. its got about 250,000 miles on it.

if they had an injector out, its going to shake untill it bleeds all the air from the lines. oil pressure gauge at full is a good thing, anything above 1/2 bar is a good thing.

should i just get the oil changed and let it run for a while? the gas is totally not as good response time, is that a factor of the fuel injector to? is it also possible that a bit desiel fuel got in the oil pan and mixed?

well now i have another theory and need verification, so anyone. if a gloplug is blown the pistion obviously wont combust, so it will spin and be drug along by the other 4 cylinders (its a 5 cylinder engine). this may sound dumb but could that cause rigid vibration as well? and about the oil gage - its ranged 0-3, 0 (being off, duh), when at idle it chugs like normal (sounds a bit diffrent, not as loud) and the oil gague reads 1.5 or a bit lower. when i hit the gas nothing happens for about 2 seconds and then it revs up and oil gague hits 3. im low on oil about a pint. any suggestions what i should do? dont forget i had that fuel injector just replaced so air may be in the line. is it a good idea to change the oil and glo plugs then let it run a while? would that fix anything or does anyone have something else?

the diesel does not combust off of the glo plug(s), they only help the engine cold start. although 1 or more may be bad
if you have a dead miss as you describe that will not go away, replacing 1 or more glo plugs will not fix the problem.

this can only be one of 2 problems either that cylinder is not getting fuel
or there is a lack of compression in that cylinder due to a bad valve or mis adjusted valve
