i got a 99 civic ex with a d16y8 looking into a b16a engine swap need to know if it will bolt up and if i need to change the ecu i think its a obd2 v2 now and will the exhaust manifold bolt up or any other mods i have to make. please help!

im pretty sure u would have 2 change axles shiftlinkage convert ur ecu 2 obd 1 also do flywheel and a bunch of lil things like that where r u going 2 have the swap done or r u going 2 do it urself

me and a mechanic are going to do it ive changed engines before but not a swap. and if i get a jdm engine should the obd1 ecu come with it and tranny? and what axles do i need i read about del sol axles i think thats it i need to know everything included so i have the parts and be prepared before i start and also i got a hydro clutch i think shiftlinkage that mean i have to switch to a cable clutch? and also the a/c adapter

if its jap it should be obd 1 but if it ur swap doesnt come with everything u should need a timing belt,flywheel,oil pump and pan axles with 1/2 shaft
shiftlinkage, rear mount and all those parts a basically cause ur changing from single cam to dual cam so the parts arent the same and yeah if u dont have a tranny u have 2 get one cause of the gear ratio and cause it wont mount up it does come out a lil more doing it this way some time so just 2 let u know most of these parts u can get off a 94 and up integra and that might save u some money

the tranny does come with it so i don't have to worry bout that everything is on the engine just have to get axles and the shiftlinkage i think thats it ? thanks for the help
