I'm new to JDM B16A engine infact Hondas period, so I need some aadvice. Saw some of these upgrades on ebay tell me what you think. Type R pistons, AEM adjustable timing gears, Aluminium retainers, Type R cams, AC Aluminium cam seals, Chiraka headers, Big bore throttle body, King rod bearing and main bearings too. Also looking at some skunk 2 springs but dont know. Any advice is great.

why do you need new rod and main bearings ? aluminum retainers, idk about that.

I dont really but thought since going to rebuild motor why not but your right. and about the retainers, not too sure myself but thar or sunk2 titainium ones.

i'd get titanium retainers if u get any!

Going for narurally asperated and around 200 - 250 hp and more torque around the 3500-4000 rpm range.

Also just really reliable too.

if u want a 200- 250 hp n/a engine yer gunna need to get a b18... unless u got loads of cash and an expert import tuner to "make" u a b16 like tht
