Leaking Gas??

In my '89 lincoln tc, when i get into my car in the morning, it smells normal, like nothing, after i get the car moving, and get out, i can smell fuel, i dont see any visible pools of gas either. Plz hlp

Your post is dated now, so maybe you found the answer? My suggestion (from my personal experience) is:
Check your fuel injectors. After shutting down the engine, open the hood and listen for a slight fizzle noise (in a quiet garage). If you hear that, look for a leaking injector. You have to do this within 5 minutes of shutting off the engine---while the fuel pressure is up. The giveaway? A wet area around the base of the injector. The problem is that you will have to get your nose up to the intake and use a flashlight to search for it--not easy because the back ones are hidden under the intake. If you have a garage, the gassy smell is also a giveaway. Obviously, avoid a hot engine scenario to do this search. Both of the injectors I replaced were leaking--I probably could have just replaced the worn o rings. A leaking fuel injector is an engine fire hazard.
