I own a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and have recently replaced the bulb of the left turn signal. Here is my problem..... The bulb lights up, but it doesn't blink in the front or in the back. When I switch on the hazard lights they blink just fine. The right turn signal works fine also in the front and back. Any one know what the problem may be? Please help.

It might be the turn signal relay. If not, it's the turn signal switch (which is kinda complicated to replace due to the airbags).

You could still have a bulb problem, also does the signal indicator light
on the dash light up for left side? Try swapping both left side bulbs with the right side ones since you know they are good.
Before changing the signal switch, I would check the bulb housing connections
