2000 Intrepid engine stalls when turning right!

My mother's 2000 Intrepid stalls when turning right. It's the most unbelievable (and extremely dangerous) thing I've ever seen. I'm trying to help her get rid of it asap, but this needs to be fixed first.
It happens intermittently; I've been driving twice when it happened. Once when slowing to turn into a shop (50 km/h to 10 km/h) and once on a more sweeping turn (75 km/h to 50 km/h). It totally baffles me. Anyone ever hear of this? thanks.

what level is the fuel when it normally happens?
