heater core 1995 chrysler lhs.
ling102 01-08-2005, 07:59 PM  ling102 01-09-2005, 07:52 PM I found the last bolt that was holding up the removal of the heater core housing. Under the hood, find and disconnect the air conditioning lines [2] where they enter the car. They are held by two torx screws. To the left, under a plastic cap, there was one more nut holding the housing in place. There were also two nuts on the firewall, under the water connections that had to be removed. There are also some screws under plastic caps that come from inside the car through the firewall. Dont touch those. I hope this helps someone else! mvalentine 01-09-2005, 08:23 PM While you have that heater box off the firewall, check the actuators that they are working properly! After changing my heater core, I still have almost no heat on a cold winter day. Yes I also changed the thermostat. I suspect that the heater door is not opening. Not looking forward to hearing down the dash again to change the actuator which is located on the bottom of the box. Anyone know of a good elf that can reach under there and fix it?
