i am looking at a 2000 cavalier vlx..loaded...what is a reasonable price..considering it needs new struts..and cluster?????

yes..i havent heard of it till now....they're 2 door....there is just plain VL that you cant get any options in, then VLX....i dont know too much about them

weird.. still never heard of such car...Must be one of those candian things..ah yep... wow.. they call an 04 a Z24... hmm... those died in 02 when they put the ecotec in all cavs... IN the US we have the base coupe/sedan ls both, and LS sport both.. Now i am going to assume that is in Kilometers, price range i am going to have to say.. 3-4 thousand USD.. man i am glad my car has only 53,500 miles on it for a 99

my 2002 is a vl.... and its got 50 some odd km and it was like 11,000

oh the dealer told me the opposite he said that you couldn't get any options at all on a vl...only the vlx....ya i have to pay for my own...ah well I picked mine up today...and am happy with it..bought all the shit i needed for it...floor mats, car kit....the usuall stuff...:D

ya the z24 still exists in the newer cars...then theres the 4 door..whatever its called and aparently vl and vlx. I test drove an 01 z24 but then saw it had 131000 kms on it and a cracked dash...and the door didn't shut..haha..and they wanted 9,900 CND....what a laugh

Yeah we still get Z24 as 2.2 now as 2005 model and no Auto option! 2 or 4 door but that's been since 02 models.
I'ts Vl then VLX then Z24 although there was a 'Z-type' in 2003 which was the VLX with z24 bodykit, which is what the Z24 is now anyway!

The Z24 isn't even a tuned 2.2 but is about $3000 more than the VLX!!

mine is a 2000 ls coupe have 112,000 but previous owner was a girl who took good care of it she works on a chevy dealer so service dept was always looking for something bad to replace

engine is quiet and tranny (auto) is smooth on shift change

i paid 3400 for it, i think it was ok is silver and has the wing on trunk

paint looks great too, bad thing no tach, but im taking care of it

i would be happier if it had sunroof well u cant have it all for 3400 he he


btw that piece of the dash closest to the windshield is cracked

but i have seen several cavys and they have it craked too

i think because the material is harder than the rest of the dash

and due to vibration it cracks, guess wont buy a new one for now
