Well I'm in the process of replacing my automatic tranny in my 97' Malibu. The stock on is shot. My question is how do I check the tranny fluid? I know there is no dipstick so how do i know when it's full. I'm going to have to add because when they tranny got removed from the junk yard alot of fluid came out. Thanks for any help! Boy was it fun removing the tranny!

raise the car and make sure it is level. with the engine running remove the 7/16 plug just forward and a little lower than where the passenger cv axel goes into the transmision. fill until the fluid comes out. fluid should checked when warm

what type of trans fluid would you recomend?
