im gonna put a new radio in my 98 lesabre limited, but where do i start to take apart the dash, i havent even looked it over, but at first glance, it seems that every thing just pops off. Is that the case or is there a couple of hidden screws?.....

I have a 92 and my glove compartment, and rest of dash had to be unscrewed. The vents and wood trim bezel popped out. If I saw a picture of it it'd help, i installed stereos for 9 years before i joined the usaf.

well i found out the hard way sit in the car and see whats loose enough to be on with clips and whats tight enought to be screwed down, and well the "wood" panels pop off, driverside-2 clip, pass side-4 clips, then that exposes three screws take those off, and then take off the vents and there is one screw on the top of each of the vent holes, 4 total, then very carefully pull at the top of the panel, starting at the sides and working in, pop off the clips and then pull towards you and up,remember to open the starter switch and put the car in drive (remember the parking brake!!!!!), radio has 3 screws holding it, all the screws are size 7mm, you will need an antenna adapter, and most likely you will have a hard time fitting the wires behind the radio
