the channel subassemblies that the regulator arms slide into on my 4runner are rusted out. i found out when my window stopped working. one of the channels had fallen off and was just floating in the door. the other channel is pretty rusted but is still attached to the window. im gonna replace both of them . i ordered them for 11 each at toyota. my question is how do you attach the channels to the window. looks like some sort of glue but not sure. also i need to take the channel that is still on there off. its on there pretty good. i dont want to play with it too much until i can get an idea whats holding it on. im a newbie at this stuff so any help is greatly appreciated. i saw some other threads dealing with the rear gate window on a 4 runner. looks like somebody might have an idea how the channels are attached

thanks

i would use one of those 2 tubes glues that u mix together, it will hold attached arm with rear glass no problem, didn't have much chance to look at it , hope it helps, N.S
