Badger 400 detail gunraab 01-07-2005, 11:08 PM hello i have a few questions reguarding this airbrush. i did not purchase this device but my school has gotten it for me and i am the first person to ever use it, however i am having alot of troubles with it at this point in time. i have been running a constant 50 psi to the gun and when i go to spray nothing comes out except air. i have searched through the supplyed the manual with the things it has said to do but it doesent seem like its working. to me it seams like the syphen can will not pressurise. any ideas on what to do to get this to work? PlumbedandWired 01-07-2005, 11:23 PM Lower your PSI for starters - should be somewhere between 15 and 25 PSI. Also, if your paint is not thin enough, it can be a problem. I would suggest just trying to shoot water first to get the air pressure sorted and then look at what's happening with your paint. raab 01-07-2005, 11:37 PM i havent even tryed paint yet. only been trying to get water through. i will try a lower psi setting and see if it works freakmech 01-08-2005, 01:57 AM also make sure that the air hole in the paint jar lid is lined up with the hole in the cardboard inside the cap. or stick a pin through the hole in the cap to make sure there is a proper breather. Vric 01-08-2005, 09:56 AM 50psi ! wow.. I never go higher than 20psi with my Anthem freakray 01-08-2005, 10:01 AM 50psi ! wow.. I never go higher than 20psi with my Anthem Well, the Badger 400 isn't an airbrush, it's a spray gun ;) And it's made to be run at 30psi. http://www.trueinter.co.th/images/b400b.jpg raab 01-08-2005, 11:31 PM still not any luck. as it feels it seems like its not sucking the air from the canister at all. not sure what to do might just be defective GTmike400 01-09-2005, 05:27 PM Hmmm...Im not sure what it could be. A time like this calls for just toying with all the adjustments...if you havent already done that. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
