B20 mix B18c1kastra_sinok 01-06-2005, 03:35 AM i want to get a b20 block and mix it with a b18c1 head and put on a gsr tranny would it improve my performance for my integra 96" an info and also whats the differences with a stock ls mototr and a stock gs-r motor? thanks. 97integrals 01-06-2005, 11:46 AM if you already have an ls b18b why don't you just put the b18c head on that and go ls/vtec? It would be a waste to buy a b20 block if you have the ls motor already. crxlvr 01-06-2005, 04:56 PM or save the money all together and put a turbo kit on the ls motor. 97integrals 01-06-2005, 08:57 PM Yes i agree turbo the ls!! kastra_sinok 01-06-2005, 09:03 PM but why ls is it faster or more powerful in some way, then gsr crxlvr 01-08-2005, 11:10 AM a turbo ls would be much faster than a stock gsr turboEKhatch 01-08-2005, 01:35 PM A B20/VTEC is a nice combo if you plan on staying naturally aspirated. I ran a B20/VTEC with .5MM over wiseco's, eagle rods, ported ITR head, crower 402's, DC 4-1 header, B16 trans and a good tune with Hondata. It took my heavy EK to mid 12's at 108-109 on 22" slicks, and was a pretty fun car on the street. Ran great on pump gas, idled well, and still got good mileage. The B20 block is a good choice over the LS for a N/A application because you get the larger bore size for more displacement. I was then, however, consumed by the dark side of the turbo  vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
