bolt on mods or internal?Red B16A 01-05-2005, 04:50 PM What do you guys think sould I go for bolt on mods or for internal mods to the engine? For a B16A Jdm engine, I already have a cold air intake fron AEM, and trying to go naturally asperated but dont want to spend over 2,000 for now. Tell me what you think. Greenblurr93 01-05-2005, 04:52 PM both. id get High comp. pistons, a nasty cam, cam gears, then the basic bolt ons. Ace$nyper 01-05-2005, 04:56 PM how deep you wanta go what are your goals other then stayng n/a? i mean 2k is enough for a good mild build but still alot more can be spent trust me hehe Red B16A 01-05-2005, 06:27 PM Well Ive already got the cold air intake and a Greddy exhast, but was thinking of getting Header, Type R pistons and a stage one cam. My only worry is I dont have any specs on the motor and dont know if I should keep the stock vavles, springs, and retainers or do I also need ajustible cam gears. Greenblurr93 01-05-2005, 08:16 PM when u change the cam, its always best to change the entire valvetrain to match what u buy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
