I have a 1987 Ford F-150 and it cut out on me while I was driving it and would not start again though the starter would turn. I thought it was a problem with the ignition module and replaced that but it continued to do the same thing. I then thought it was a fuel related problem, and replaced the fuel filter and checked the pumps but the fuel system is working fine. I have new plugs and a new distributor cap on it but im still not getting spark. Dont know what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

Remove distributor cap and crank engine,to make sure shaft is moving.
Report back!
With that info someone will be able to help.

Nope the shaft inside the distributor is not rotating so what do I need to do?

Well, pull the distribrator, and check the gear on the bottom, make sure the little pin did not break, otherwise might have broken a timing chain.
