Fiesta - How to remove Radio?OMJD 01-05-2005, 05:33 AM Hi, I have bought a new CD player and speakers for my fiesta. I have never fitted one before (although I am experienced at setting/wiring up sound equipment in other areas) but I have the problem of getting my current standard radio/cassette out of my 1995 Fiesta. I assume I need some sort of tool to remove it, but I'm not sure what it is or where to get it. Also, as I have not been able to get it out, I have not been able to look at the connectors. Can someone tell me if I will need a wiring adaptor for my new CD player? Or is it likely to be a standard connector? Please could someone help. Thanks. :) Ghia-X 01-24-2005, 07:12 PM if its a standard ford go to halfords the removal tool & wiring adaptor should be available if you send me your e-mail addr i will send a picture of the tool required Benlawton 02-18-2005, 06:39 AM Hey, if you go to halfords the tool will be readily available. You will also need a Ford ==> ISO adapter (usually about a tenner). On top of all this you will also need a fascia adapter because as you can see your ford radio is quite large whereas your CD player will be a normal letterbox one. The fascias are also available at halfords for 15 quid or so. Best of luck! afc_camoki 02-20-2006, 10:15 AM me and my mate ripped mine out with a screw driver, they are impossible to seal and brut force, you might need a convertor for your cd player which i had to get for mine. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
