2001 voltage and rpms dropping and stallingbleeds green 01-04-2005, 11:17 AM I have a 2001 Sierra with about 120,000km on it. Lately when slowing down for intersections the voltage and rpms are dropping and sometimes stalling. As soon as I come to a complete stop they go right back up to where they should be. When it does stall it always starts right back up. One other thing I have noticed is a loss in gas milage and this might be part of it but am not sure. Any sugguestions or hints would be appriciated. I did read one other problem on here like this and it was the pick up coil and haven't had a chance to check mine yet. Thanks. GMMerlin 01-04-2005, 02:42 PM Your truck doesn't have a pickup coil. Clean the T/B with some cleaner and a soft brush. There are also some GM TSBs relating to calibration updates for this and also one on that has an adjustment and plug procedure if you have a cable T/B kenny-1907 01-05-2005, 07:40 PM GMMerlin , Could you maybe give a little more info on those TSB's please. I have a 2000 silverado with the cable for the TB and was wondering if this is something that i should check into. Thanks, Ken bleeds green 01-06-2005, 12:47 PM What does tsb stand for? I am a little confused, I know that t/b stands for throttle body but am unsure of the other. Thanks. GMMerlin 01-06-2005, 04:20 PM What does tsb stand for?
