Solenoid replacement

I think the solenoid on the starter is crapping out on me. I can hear the starter (at least I am assuming it is the starter), but the car does not start. The starter sounds fine; no grinding.
I am wondering the difficultly of replacing the solenoid. Do I need to remove the starter to replace the solenoid? Is this a one-hour job, two-hour job...?

I replaced the starter and solenoid. It toke me a little over one hour. The hardest part was getting access to all of the bolts. :banghead: The exhaust runs right by the starter, so it was difficult getting enough room to make the wrench/socket turn the bolts.
It was a little cool doing the job. My garage is not heated and the temperature was around -3f.
