hey guys, well, my Low Oil light has been on now for about a year. But the oil is always full, considering it uses about a quart between changes. Anyways, i've talked to some people and they said not to worry about it, as the light goes out if i shut the car off and then crank it again. it just bothers me. could it be the oil pump or something else? anyone else ever have this problem?

If you have a manual (like Hayes) for the car, it may an electrical schematic. Or do it the hard way, by following wires.

Hi i was reading your delema, I own a 1995 monte carlo z34, i had some work dopne on the Starter(well, thats another story) and when the work was done the oil light came on , see there is a sensor on the oil pan near the starter, the wire somehow came out and caused this problem if i hook it back up the light goes off, hmmm, well good luck.
