Short Circuit

Well we found it: the 15 amp fuse to the parking light circuit kept blowing. The parking light circuit itself proved to be OK because once the Body Control Module was disconnected, the lights would light up normally. But when BCM was connected, then an input from the light circuit to the BCM tells it to feed the dash lights and then, the fuse would blow.
Well...I am "short circuiting" a long part of the story here because first, to access BCM, you have to remove the lower dash panel....and thanks to diagrams provided by A. Souphound , I knew pin 23 was the parking light input to BCM..so I could disconnect it. for the test.

After jiggling with wire harnesses and causing the short to come and go and seeing some sparks from under the dash, it proved necessary to remove it all....and this is no piece of cake......
Anyway, the results are here:
