choosing wagon tires

I have a 96 collectors edition with 75,000 miles. In top condition appart from the usual peeling 'wood' trim. It's time for new tires and I want to install some quiet smooth-riding ones that have good traction in wet conditions. I live in Savnnah GA so snow is not an issue. My choice at the moment is Michelin Cross train SUV. found here....

Great reviews although no one at the above site reports having put them on a roadmaster.

has anyone got these on their Wagon?
What do you think of them?
Is there anything else you could recomend?

Price is not a consideration when it comes to tires.

if snow is not an issue, then don't compromise your traction with an all season tire. Look into a set of summer tires. They will have better dry and wet traction compared to an all season tire. Are you running the stock size?

currently have Michelin Rain Force MX 235/75/15 They are larger than the spec tires and there is a little bit of rubbing on the front inner wheel well plastic. These are quite niosy especialy in town when riding over road joints.

any advantage in going slightly larger than spec? I know rolling distance is increased so I will go further per rev but that is hardly a saving on gas.

and anyone who wants to save gas that much should not be in a Buick Wagon!!

going larger than spec such as a 255/60/15 would increase you traction and handling and also increase your final drive ratio.

If you're wanting a great wet/dry tire I can recommend quite a few in the stock 235/70/15 size and the 255/60/15 size
