headlight low beam dead, but hi beam is ok

Hi, guys,
My problem is low beam did not work, but high beam is ok.
After i change the both bulb, this still persist.
Can you guys give me some clues?

You will need a wiring diagram. Test for power at the plug for the bulb and work your way back. Common areas to check first are fuses, switches.
I find making an enlarged copy of the wiring diagram makes it easier to read and follow. I use colored markers to mark off what I checked.

Wiring diagrams are available from a variety of sources. Haynes repair manual. Other repair manuals. If you don't want to invest in purchasing a repair manual, you can go to your local library. Libraries also have copy machines.

I had this problem with my Datsun, it turned out to be the stalk switch that controlled highbeams and turn signals.

I'm having the same high beam good no low beam trouble. I have a 96 taurus. How do you change the headlight lamp? I can't get to it.
