Thanks Kraig MarkC 12-30-2004, 11:40 AM did you check to see what codes if any were stored? kraigc 12-30-2004, 06:54 PM I am not for sure how to check the codes, how do you do that. Thanks Kraig MarkC 01-01-2005, 02:50 PM turn the ignition switch to the on position and then simultaneously push the off and warmer buttons and hold for 3 seconds. You should then see codes flash across the Fuel Data Center. They will begin with the letter E or F. Write them down and let me know what they are. kraigc 01-01-2005, 04:07 PM Thank you so much for your help I stopped at the local Cadillac dealer and they seemed to think that my cataletic converter may be getting clogged due to me getting a rotten egg smell from the exhaust but they would not know what it was till they hooked it up to a computer at a charge of $75.00 so you are saving me alot of money. The code that came up is E44 that is the only one I saw. Thanks for your help and I will see what your reply is. Thanks Kraig MarkC 01-01-2005, 04:17 PM E44-Oxygen Sensor Signal Lean code will be set when; 1. There is an oxygen sensor circuit fault giving a false lean indication or 2. When the air fuel ratio is actually lean due to a vacuum leak or fuel control system fault. kraigc 01-01-2005, 04:25 PM Thank you for the answer, now if it is a vacuum leak how will I find that out and what is a fuel control system fault could that be injectors or something?
