'96 Trooper Window Regulatorwhitnet516 12-29-2004, 10:31 AM My wife tried to open the "frozen" power window on our '96 Trooper. One of the clips holding the window broke. Does anyone know of a source for just the clips to repair this or is the only solution to purchase the whole front/left power window regulator? vwmusky19 01-24-2005, 03:13 PM I am having the same issue. I spoke with an Isuzu dealer, and was told that I must bye a whole window, and that I probably will need a window regulator as well. $350.00 + . I really do not believe that. Have you had any luck with locating the plastic brackets? i may end up manufacturing my own if I can not locate plastic brackets. vwmusky19 whitnet516 01-27-2005, 09:30 AM I have found wrecking yards that will sell a used Trooper window regulator (the cables and the plastic clamps). All quotes seem to be around $75 to $100. I still have not repaired mine, so I can't tell you who's best. Here's one contact: jamie@carpartsdirectllc.com. Good Luck! Rogerbr 07-04-2007, 05:02 PM Advance Auto sells replacement clips for GM that are almost the same and worked on my '98 Trooper. (They carry them in their self-service generic replacement parts area.) You will need some adhesive to secure them to the window. The clips costs about $9.00 for a 4-pack, but only 2 work (the other two do not have the nut insert). :) My wife tried to open the "frozen" power window on our '96 Trooper.
