Electrical Problem
Seanscho 12-28-2004, 11:09 PM I've been having a problem with my headlights in my 03 Coupe. I have replaced the bulbs 3 times now, twice on my passenger side, once on my driver side. I had problems with my tail lights (also went out 3 times) but the dealer fixed that and said it was the fault of the sockets. Every time I replace my light bulbs, they blow about a day or two later (this last time the light bulb actually exploded!). If anyone has any insight, please help me! Thanx kingburnett 12-29-2004, 08:28 PM This may sound strange, and of course I'm no expert on this matter, but it's worth a try. Try not to touch the glass on any of the bulbs with your bare hands. Use rubber gloves or soft clean cotton gloves. I have heard that any oil from your fingers or dirt on the bulbs may sometimes cause them to explode when they get hot. Just my 2 cents. Regular brake lights that dosn't matter... wiseguy01 12-30-2004, 01:18 AM pay the extra money for the long life bulb u know 3157llbp by sylvania. AutomotiveHelper.com, Copyright ©2013
