Does anyone know what lubricant works best to stop the squeaks on the wheater stripping on quad-cab doors. The last time i was in the dealer they lubed it up, with what I'm not sure, but they made it worse.

Tks much.

I've heard silicon will both lube them up and help keep them supple.

WD40 is technically a solvent and if you use it on anything that you want to keep lubed up you are eventually going to do just the opposite...remove all the lube. Silicone is a good choice.

i put a small amount of vaseline on it reapplied maybe 1 or 2 times a year but i know the silicone based sprays work to. someone suggested the vaseline after it drove me nuts but yet i kept on forgetting to buy more

You can get the silicone spray at the parts store for around 3-4 bucks a can. Also works well on window guides.
