Whenever I start my car I have to give it some gas in order to get it to start. Sometimes it will start without pushing the gas pedal, but in most cases it requires that I give it some gas. Also when I am just sitting there and the car is idleing it will just quit. I have never had any actual problems when I have been driving it only seems to be on starting it and idleing. I have heard that this is a difficult thing to diagnose because there are many possibilities, but I am hoping there is someone with a similar situation or some insite on this matter. I hope to get this fixed because I just got a remote starter for Christmas and I live in Minnesota where its cold, so I want to get that up and working. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Did you try checking the idle speed, because if it is idling real low it have to have something to do with the idle speed. Also you said that sometimes you have to step on the pedal to start the car, the only thing I can think of is the idle
