Is it true that paint job is very expensive and can only be done by a few skillfull painters ?
Have seen that colour and also a green into blue one.....very trick !!!

in "Max Power- Beast from east" video there's a skyline GT-R with the same kind of paint, unbelivable!! I did see two volvos with these paintschemes. the one featured above and a 900series wagon with 19"s all over... very nice! I get breathless every time I see those paintschemes...

Disneyland used that color-changing paint on its new Autopia cars when they re-did it about a year ago. There's an orange- and a purple-based version. They both have like four different colors in each.

That stuff costs almost a grand per gallon. I hope they use thin coats!:flash:

due to the fact that volvo is swedish (well, it was before ford came in) their cars are and will always be the most popular car here (BMW is advancing thou). but the 850, or the s70, is indeed a very popular car... s80 is coming very strong, and now with the s60, more volvos are out there than ever...

Can someone tell me what's so good about that paintjob? I dont understand it but for some reason the only place I see it is around the ghetto...now...uhh...I dont know...do you get what I'm trying to get at? I hope so, someone please side with me or give me a good reason for it.

Dude, I dont think you get it...just b/c there's more money "dumped" into an accord or some honda that doesnt mean it's worth more than a porsche...I'm sure u understand now...if not, god help you.

let's see price of car (accord EX V6) + mods (including paint job and security system) = value of car

$26,000 + $25,000 = $51,000 U.S. dollar

Porsche Boxster price = $43,000

so it is worth more than a porsche boxster... in the amount of money he spent on the car

tell me this can you sell it for 51k....hell no!!!!! you can sell it for at most (AT THE EXTREEM MOST) 40k...and you know what, cant get a porsche for that, sorry bud....and ya know what, there's no chance you'll get 51.

it doesn't matter how much he could sell it for... we're judging by how much he spent on the car, and he could have bought a porsche instead of buying and modding that car...
he spent more on that car then how much a brand new porsche boxster costs

and you can easily find a slightly used porsche boxster for under $40k


what's the point of sayin what it's worth used? if you put your heart into a car, you judge it by how much YOU spent on the car. not by how much people wanna pay for it

ok, heres the deal with that paint, its pretty expensive, im not sure how much, but signifigantly more than regular paint. all the bits of pearl are three sided, and each side is a different color amking it change colors in different light. this sprays just as easy as if not easier than regular paint and can be done by any painter

no matter how ya paint it, or what ya put in it, its still a Honda, made in japan not Germany, plain and simple its a Honda always will be, always was. And to compare a Honda to a Porsche?, You can't be serious. :monkeypis

Not that you'll care or understand...but the Honda Accord coupe wasn't built in Japan....it was built in the United States.

No. The Accord coupe ONLY comes from the Marysville, Ohio, plant. Accords are not built in Canada at all and only some sedans are imported from Japan.

Honda makes cars for sale in North America in Japan, England, US, Canada, and Mexico. Accord Coupes only come from Ohio.
