SL Timing Beltkinglomz 12-26-2004, 12:22 PM Hi guys, What i need to know is where is the timing belt in a 2002 Rodeo SL ? If have a pictures or a website where i can see the engine, send me it please. I have this problem, when i start the car... he losts the timing point.. how i can fix it ? reply please amigo-2k 12-26-2004, 05:27 PM 4cly or 6 cly rodeo02 12-26-2004, 06:37 PM Not sure what a rodeo "SL" is, but on the 2.2L or 3.2L, the timing belt is burried behind the black plastic cover(s) on the front of the engine. If you have the 2.2L 4 cylinder, you'll want to changeout the timing belt every 40-60,000 miles to prevent engine / valvetrain damage.
