Big Rims and Big EnginesStopshootn 12-25-2004, 07:18 PM I am Building up my grand prix for a very special event in my town and a lot of people down south and in the midwest like to go with big rims big engines and a lot of car monitors. Now I am the kind of person who is going to do all of that and more but i would like to get opinions on if people think it is worth it to have 22"rims on a car with more than 400hp under the hood and more car monitors in spots that dont even matter other than to show off your ride. And also lot of fiberglass in a (18)year old car Stopshootn 12-25-2004, 07:19 PM Big Rims Big Engines drdisque 12-25-2004, 10:05 PM I personally think 22's look really tacky on cars except for the new 300. I would stick with 20's. goinbig 12-29-2004, 02:24 PM If you want to build a car for one, single show...go for it. No one is stopping you. I wouldn't go over 20" wheels, unless you plan on doing a LOT of work to make 22's fit. 400hp really isn't that much, and would cause no problems with the wheels. RickwithaTbird 01-07-2005, 04:10 PM except that with 400hp, you'll probably go really fast a lot and hit pot holes and ruin your rims. RickwithaTbird 01-07-2005, 04:11 PM oh, and by the way, if you have enough money to pimp out a car that much, get a different car than an 86 grand prix. goinbig 01-07-2005, 05:32 PM oh, and by the way, if you have enough money to pimp out a car that much, get a different car than an 86 grand prix. hahahahahahahahaha, Very good point!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
