Wased car yesterday and notice after running it around block to dry off
brakes, shut down car and my parking lights stay on. Also notice that hi beams in lock position forward dont go on. I pull the 20amp fuse in engine bay box behind battery and the parking lights go off. Let car sit all night and problem persists. Any of you late model wrx owners on this site have similar problems? I have had car only 5 weeks and was wondering if subuarus have electrical and lighting gremlins like these. I believe that maybe a relay or connection shorted? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Dealer closed today because of xmas will have to wait till monday to take for a warranty call.

i dont know about the new ones but is there any chance you hit the switch on the steering column? if so they will stay on when the car is off...

yea you have to hit the switch on the Sterring column.
same happened with mine. and the dealer said it's a thing most people forget.

Feel kinda duh... after checking out you alls replies and finding the swithc. Thanks very very much. unaware of the switch on the top of the steering column, wheel in the way of sight on it. Other cars I have had never has this feature to turn on light with out key in ignition. Much appreciated!
