Help!!!!zeek1403 12-24-2004, 02:23 PM I have a 1989 Toyota Camry 4cyl 2.0. I want to use the GM Top Engine Cleaner or whatever it is called to clean the carbon out of my engine. What hoses do I disconnect? Which hose sucks the GM cleaner into the engine? Where are they located? How do I make this stuff work the best? Thanks! gelcol 12-24-2004, 09:47 PM have to take out the big hose b4 the intake manifold (plenium) and spray a little and rev. a bit spraying too much will sputter the engine. zeek1403 12-24-2004, 10:40 PM I was talking about the stuff that the engine will suck in through a vaccuum. I think it is either GM Top Engine Cleaner or Sea Foam. zeek1403 12-27-2004, 02:25 PM With or without help, here's what I am going to do: I bought Sea Foam and I am going to unhook my vaccuum line and spray it in. I am going to revv it up a bit too. When I am almost out of the stuff, I am going to spray it until the engine dies. Then I will let it sit for about 30 minutes and try to start it up again (should be hard). Any other ideas? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
