Gas gauge not working, go here for the fix!!!Bigpoppax2 12-23-2004, 02:45 PM I did a write-up on fixing the Rodeo/Passport fuel gauge on the 98 and up trucks. It's not too bad of a do it yourself job. Cost, about 40 bones. Here ya go: http://www.planetisuzoo.com/articles.htm/116 I just found the automotive forums, I hope I can answer more questions than I ask. Happy Holidays to all! SOLSTER megavolt121 12-24-2004, 05:00 PM I did that procedure on my 98 Rodeo, but it still flashes empty. Anyways someone said I needed a PCM reprogramming. Can anyone give me some more insight on what that means exactly? Could a local mechanic do it or could I load it in somehow? I'm not really looking forward to paying the Stealership $94/hour to reflash my car. And if I did go to them, what would I ask for? Bigpoppax2 12-24-2004, 06:27 PM Hey, thanks for the welcome. I just can't see what needs programed? I did this procedure on mine and it took right off, works fine. It's a variable resistor what could affect the readings you will get with it? Yes if you need a reprogram there isn't anything you can do other than go to the stealer. Joe vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
