Where can I look to find out what type of engine I have in this car.

When you open the hood, there will be a blue metal strip located in the left front corner with some numbers on it. This is the engine ID# for your car. The first 3 digits will be your engine type, which I'm assuming will start with an E__ (EW1 for example) It will also be located on the front left side of the engine block.
