occasionaly i smell this burnt smell in the x when im going down the street. the heater works good so i dont think its the heater core. the trany and engin run great and the oil in crystal clear. what could it be.

Could be road crud on the exhaust, could be a funky batch of fuel, could be an exhaust leak somewhere, hard to say...
