i have a 95 rodeo 3.2 L . seems to have same problem as many of the other posts i have read, brake , battery lights on and the a/c blower wont run. The volt meter was also showing only about 11 volts so i pulled the alternator and had it checked. it checked out ok. I put the unit back on the vehicle ,the first time i started it all the trouble lights went off and voltage at the battery was 14.34 volts. After i killed the engine and restarted it all the trouble lights came back on and only have 12.6 volts at battery.

Check/clean all of your ground points

This same exact thing happened to me. I took it in and got the altenator rebuilt. I suggest not getting a new altenator but instead getting yours rebuilt. Luckily I walked away only paying $58. Mine had the same exact problems yours is showing and after the rebuild, a couple months ago, it has been running like a champ.

if it still acts up stick in a new alt. bench testing an alt. is about 50% accurate
