Power seat controls

Okay, somebody please tell me that this is a quick, easy and cheap fix....

The power seat controls don't work on the passenger seat; knew that when I bought it and it's not an issue.

The power seat controls on the driver's seat sometimes work and sometimes don't, and so this is a major issue!

Most of the time the forward/backward switch (the middle one on the 95 JGC Laredo) works okay. It's been known to go forward and not backwards, and that can be a problem.

The other switches that control the tilt of the seat work a lot of the time, but not currently.

My 6'3", 240# son was driving the Jeep while his car was in the shop (yes, for those who remember me and our saga, we're still in Car Hell!), and now that I've got it back I can get the seat to move forward but the rest of it's all wrong.

Is this a matter of fuses (where are they?) or something a lot more complicated?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Unfortuneatly, your seat motors are not fused, and it sounds like your going to need to replace both the front and rear motors. Shouldn't be more than 250 with labor.

Oh yuck. That's not good..... I have too many other things that need to be fixed first.

Thanks for the info, though!
