This Trooper had a used, replacement engine (86,000 mi) installed last year. Engine runs very well (a little warm if A/C is on at a stoplight in the summer). After engine was installed, the transmission (A/T) decided not to operate in 1st or 4th gears.

Isuzu dealer had it for diagnosis for about a month and a half with no luck.

The A/C is cold, and the interior is very clean for this vintage.

This Trooper is still drivable. It's slow from a stop, and anything faster than 55 mph is stretching the normal rev range (remember 3rd gear max). I've driven it in this condition several times to work (20 miles) just to keep it running. Small dent and some rust behind passenger-side front wheel well.

Major work was completed in '02 (before a move). All axles pulled, cleaned, replaced if necessary. New shocks all around. New brakes. Major tune-up at this time as well.

All maintenance records for the last 5 years! Religiously maintained oil and filters. Original owner's manual. Original window sticker! It has been cared for. Originally purchased in CT.

Clean title in my name, if purchased whole ($700.00).
