its a 20cent resistor at radio shack that "fools" the computer.

it looks like a stage one is crap, its just a risiser as sk8er said, i got one once and it screwed up my car, i have an auto cavalier and it messed up the shifting it shifted so hard the car was lurching and stuff, i dont kno about a stage 2 or stage 3 if someone does let me kno too, cause it sounds good but like i said i dont kno about those cause all ive tried was a stage 1

waste of money and a stupid question to ask... None of these chips actually serve a purpose except dumping more fuel into the cylanders causing you to run rich...

If it sounds to good to be true, it is.
